Generator

I have a 2-stroke generator. Rather than buy a new one with sinewave is there something I can put inline before the Motorhome, such as a surge protector but is as good as a sinewave Genny thingy?

What about onboard charger and control unit will it not damage them?

From what I was told on another forum ages ago it would damage them, I am now scared to use it even though I used to use it with a Caravan no problems.

I do know with two stroke you must start it and let it warm up until it is of choke before plugging it in so that it is a steady rev.

As long as your generator voltage is stable and the polarity and voltage is correct the charger should be ok, they are very vunerable to high voltage. " never rev up your generator with it attached to the motorhome it will increase the voltage and damage the charger"
