Hi there,

I'm delighted to be part of the forum. We have been motorhoming since 1996 with a 5 year hiatus. We started out in a Romahome on a Honda TN Acty. we moved on to a Swift Royale and then on to a Hymer C594. Our current 'van is a 2007 Hobby Toskana AK 670KMC. We love it to death. In our troupe we have my wide my (soon to be) 13 year old son and my 21 year old daughter. As with the emergence of the teen years we're finding it difficult to encourage our son to come with us which is a pity.

As we live in Enniskillen, our favourite haunt is Sligo, or more specifically, Rosses point. We tend to do a lot of wild camping and this year I fitted two new 100Am/h lesiure batteries which give us incredible freedom.

I've been trying to post pictures of our van in the "show us you van" section but can't get them to upload - any help would be really appreciated. As I said, I'm really glad to be here and love the idea of a website / forum designed for Irish vanners.

Chat you all really soon.

Thanks to you all for the good wishes. I need to make a few small ammendments "my wide" should read "my wife" and our Royale was the 540 model of 1995 vintage which we traded into Motorhome Ireland for the Hymer. I've often wondered what happened to it.

Kind Regards fellow vanners, this evening I'll be getting packed up, ready to hit the road after work tomorrow evening, yippppeeee!
