Anybody sailing with ld lines from Rosslare to St Nazaire on Friday 15th August?

Got a Text message from them Today stating that due to technical issues they will not accept Credit/ Debit Cards on board. Cash will be required for all Purchases.

I can't see them operating next year, it's one thing after another with them.

There are loads of Aires in that area.
If you have the book you will see what I mean.

La baule isn't to far.

Yes, as Mark says there are loads of Aires locally according to the book of Aires, I don't know the area but I am sure we will find something. Are you on the same sailing/

If you are in the area check out the Aires at Arzon and Damgan. Both very close to the beach.

Thanks Guys for your good wishes, I hope the boat gets us there also, anything would not surprise me now, yesterday morning Had to get steel taking out of my eye and when I came home the Neighbours dog was after chewing the Blue EHU cable for the Motorhome, it was charging the van at the time, he is still alive and it tripped the mcb in the fuse board.

I borrowed an I for Williams trailer a few years back and our dog at the time ate every wire off it, it was hooked up and ready for the road to cork in the morning at 5:30am, he even pulled it off the chassis right back to leave an inch sticking out of the tail lights,
Needless to say I wasn't impressed with him at the time as he was 3 years old and should have known better,

But I can tell you the next evening he bit the wire that was temporarily on the trailer, he got a shock :o and that was the last wire he ever touched, it wasn't plugged into the back of the van that evening if you get my drift O-)

Back on topic,

Enjoy France and I hope LD prove to be good

Hi , don't worry about ld lines and their technicnal difficulties with the credit card , we sailed
Twice and got the message both times , seems because they are not set up with wifi the can't
Check the credit cards, we can't fault the ship , regards

I have to agree Ken, it was the best sailing that we ever had to France, I dreaded it but we got in an house early and we spent most of the day on the Sun Deck/ Helipad, we are sorry that we are not going home with them. The time absolutely flew. Unfortunately for LD the boat was only half full.

We are now parked up on a car park with another 7 or 8 other Motorhomes In La Turbelle, we tried 3 aires and they were all full, that is the proem with getting in late in the evening.

Funny you said that, I am having a lovely glass of secret reserve white wine that a young lady from Dungarvan gave me in Ardmore. :D

Yeah digger I must agree not a bad choice and very pleasant on the pallet. Enjoying a nice Bordeaux Claret here at Trabolgan and I must say it's very pleasant. I could be forced to open another bottle.

Glad I brought a good supply as wine is very expensive down here. Have had a few nice pints of the black stuff for my health.
