Found this and thought it looked great fun for those who can make the weight, recon it doesn't weigh much more than a mountain bike.
seems very cheap to me

As for me well over the weight limit.

Not many of the men on here would be that light, if in fact any!

It's only 11 stone in real money - not many men are that light even if they are thin.

There are a few on here would need one under each foot, including myself ;)

One of my mates bought one of these for his 6yo son. not sure if it was the same dealer, but then most of these bikes come from the same source...
It lasted about 6 weeks before it started giving trouble. He replaced some parts under warranty but the customer service was terrible. He then got sick of it and put it aside in his shed until the warranty period ran out! He came to me at the start of summer 2014 to see if I could do anything to fix it... I eventually got it right but by f*** it took a fair amount of time and effort.

Advice if you do buy one -
Don't ever let it get wet.
Don't run it on hard ground for fear it'll fall over, the aluminium engine casings are brittle and shatter on impact.
Don't ever forget to premix the 2 stroke oil with the petrol.
Don't ever let it run out of petrol and -
DON'T let any fatties ride it!! The bearings and bushings are made of chocolate...

I'd rather go to a Jedward concert than put a spanner to one of those Chinese kids scramblers!

with your mechanical knowhow and the fact that you have so little to do in your spare time looks like a great business idea for you.

I think that go's for most Chinese stuff, pure crap, I bought a new Chinese 4' Finishing Mower for behind a small Kubota tractor we have and after driving about 6' it seized up,a bearing went on it, we ended up replacing all the spindle bearings, now the 4 wheels are falling apart, one of the blades got bent on it last year and I was able to straighten it with one hand without taking it off. I was better off buying a secondhand Branded model.

Good idea. Only problem is I will insist on charging €200/hr labour to work on another one!

What's the finish like from those mowers Pat? My oul MTD ride-on is on it's last legs and I'm not going to spend big money on another ride-on. I was thinking about buying a used 4ft finish mower to hitch on the back of our B7100.

Would it leave a nice finish on a lawn and mulch the clippings away?

(Sorry for the hijack Dave :bandit: )

We have it behind a B7100 also, it will do a pretty ok job if you cut it often and low, if it is long the wheels flatten the grass and the mower just go over it, the mulcher works well. Our B7100 is manual and not live drive so every time you clutch the mower stops and that is a pain.

I am serious when I say this I was freaked out when I bought my present house which has nearly half a acre behind the house and needed maintenance, I priced a sit on lawnmower and then thought about keeping it indoors and servicing etc. I also costed a guy cutting the grass for me and opted for the latter! I neither have the time nor the inclination and didn't want it turning into a silage field. Those things are expensive and costly to maintain. Never mind the time to actually do the cutting. I have two raised beds but apart from rhubarb I don't have time to grow anything else.

It took me a full weekend to cut the grass and trim around the trees when we lived next door and that was with a ride on, I always thought about getting sheep to do the job for me.

I have loads of rabbits but they don't do it! Goats or sheep need looking after and then I would not be able to go away for weekend in the MH.
