Are there height barriers at Belfast City Airport car park? for the life of me I can't remember. Guests staying with us and they need to be at the airport tomorrow.

Tried street view but it doesn't go in the airport.

Cheers.

I would sincerely doubt it as its a MEGA pay for parking space area.
Everyone uses the IKEA carpark and ride = go early - get a breakfast in Ikea - pick up a piece for the motorhome and get a lift to the airport from the top of car park

Ally.

from my recollection the carpark at city airport is free for 10 minutes. take a ticket on entry and a barrier (bonnet height ) lifts to allow entry. Do not recall any height barrier.

I generally go to the big B&Q (toilets and tool porn) near IKEA and stooge around until my daughter rings after landing.

Double check the Ikea park and ride. unless hessyhymer has recent knowledge, I think City Airport forced it's closure.

Ally I know for sure that the long term parking park had no barriers there when I flew out 3 weeks ago. Also from what I'm aware the short term had none either.

Dont forget the layby on the (Bangor bound ) sydenham bypass bridge/sydenham boat club you can drop off there and enter by the side gate I'm also lead to believe you can request to bus pick up from that gate or else it's only a short dander to the terminal.

Did they fly the Motorhome up and were afraid they wouldn't get out of the airport with the height barriers?

I will enlighten you all!
My niece Aisling flew into Waterford where I collected her and my own daughter and we took off up the country.
She was to fly on Flybe as a minor aged 8 accompanied back to Manchester great service for little ones.
There was no hassle at all we drove in parked up had lunch and saw her off and it was cheap as chips for parking for an airport!!!!!

Ally great service!
