Advice for Wicklow, Kilkenny, Limerick trip

We are heading off on a 10 day trip in the motorhome in March and would be interested in hearing of any local recommendations for somewhere to stay.

The only two place I will be definitely visiting are Treegrove in Kilkenny and the Aire at Askeaton.
Kilkenny to visit Dan and see if there is a deal to be had for our gathering in June and Askeaton to meet up with people we met on France last year.

We are thinking of doing a loop by heading to Wicklow first then on to Kilkenny before across in the direction of Limerick.

If anyone else is going to be in these areas and fancy meeting up please let me know and I can bring some Motorhomecraic stickers. Any suggestions for other stopovers, campsites or other sites worth visiting will be gratefully received.

LOL...
Thanks, we did look at the map and thought it was looking like poor roads across the hills.
Maybe Kildare first although I cannot find many places in Kildare.

Thanks I had forgotten about there.

Might stop there on they way down on the Friday night.
Am I right in thinking we turn left after the Airport on the M1 instead of joining the M50. Head for the coast /Howth ?

After the airport turn take N32 slip which is up to the old roundabout at start of M50. Keep left at roundabout and then it is straight to Howth

First few nights now sorted.

I have been looking at somewhere to stay between Limerick and Enniskillen.
We like to visit Heritage building or historic monuments etc.

As we are unfamiliar with Counties, Clare, Galway and Roscommon I am not sure which of the following routes we should select for roads and places to stay. We are also open to suggestions which may take us off these routes too.

Loughrea
Roscommon
Carric on Shannon

Or

Claremorris
Sligo

Any suggestions ?
We are happy to use Aires, campsites or stopovers.

That is very true Bob.
I know I will get plenty of help. That why I posted 4 weeks before I go.

Thats what is great about having this forum. Local knowledge all over the country, perfect

Just had a look. Will add those onto the satnav later.

Excellent job on all the POI's.
