hi all - just parked up in carrick on shannon - at the old courthouse -great spot beside the boats in the marina - no signs re parking so its free !
some other vans on the main road in opposite landmark hotel

careful at weekends
hotel has hen and stag parties and very noisy at closing time, also been known for them to push and rock vans.

another good spot in carrick on shannon is the thatch pub
