We came home on it on Sunday / Monday.

It is the same style of ferry as Celtic Link or Belfast Liverpool.
There is one self service restaurant and one cafe/bar.

The cabins are nice, clean and slightly bigger then the Oscar Wilde.
The sailing we were on was only about half full (vehicle decks showed this)

No probs taking this sailing again if it continues next year.

The big bonus was arriving into Dublin rather than Rosslare.

I'm not surprised it was half full or half empty or whatever way you put it.

Mark I looked at the price and almost had a heart attack. Had great difficulty trying to book the trailer on. It was much cheaper from Rosslare.

That is strange. Maybe to prices have changed.
The sailing we were on was the same price from either port. The cabin on the Dublin sailing was slightly more but only about €20 ish.

Or were you comparing it with Celtic Link prices?

Here is a screen grab of prices for later this month.

Same price for either port before adding cabins.

It must have changed cause when I checked it away back there was quite a difference and then we ended up not booking and going to Cork next week as our grandson could only fit in a week. As it turns out not even a week as we have to come back on the train with him on the Friday as he wants to go to some concert or other. The things we grandparents do.

Thanks,

We took it earlier this year travelled out in early March and returned mid May.

The big advantage is that if you live north of Dublin the shorter drive going and coming is a welcome advantage. The cabins were clean and comfortable and comparable with the Rosslare / Cherbourg route.

Only slight moan was the restaurant. There is only one restaurant and it was quite basic and pricey for what they offered.

But overall I would use it again :)
