Visited North Coast area last week, intended to park overnight at the harbour but now Moyle Council have put up signs to prevent overnight camping at the location.

We also went to stay at ballintoy the ballycastle chronicle had a front page story about it moyle councillors don't have a clue about motor homes one of them called them wheeled sheds we also met a motor home driver with a blue badge who was turned away from visiting the giants causeway does moyle council not want tourists we also saw several foreign motor homes I wonder what impression they had.

The Giants Causeway is controlled by the National Trust and they do not like motorhomes staying overnight there.

Stay at Bushmills and park and ride. They love us and are really helpful. Stay where we are wanted. Worked for us!

Things seem to have changed a lot since June

We visited TGC in June and had no problem parking in the car park at the visitor centre. There wasn't a hit of a suggestion of not being welcome. That day there were at least 3 other MH in that car park.

We also overnighted at Ballintoy and loved it. Next morning I noticed a car come from the house that is over to the left. They stopped at the bin and took out a big black of rubbish. Left it on top of the bin and drove off. I turned to my wife and said 'I bet motorhomers will be blamed for that'.
