Doolin to loughkey in the one day is going to be a bit of a spin, the guts of 100 miles and probably 3 hours to cover it as the roads are rough enough, so make sure there's plenty to entertain the 2 girls
You are going from one of our favourite spots to the other,

Steve in loughkey is a gent and you will find he cannot do enough to make your stay enjoyable,

No worries,

Get a ticket from Steve for when you go over to the visitor center as you get discounted entry to the various things,
bring the bikes as there's loads of forest trails and best found by bike,
Internet is very very hard to get and tv is even harder so bring DVD's (the dragon recommends loom bands and a frozen DVD O-) )
Bring fly spray

Sorry for hijacking the thread dinjoe,

We stayed at the quay in westport last week, plenty of space, a little out of town so have supplies got. there is a Centra nearby so its handy. There were 7 motorhomes there the night we were. It was very safe, Westport town itself it a bit of a bottleneck to get through. Otherwise, very good.
