we headed down to Ardmore co Waterford this weekend, had heard about this spot for motorhomes overlooking the beach, its a beautiful spot n you could not ask for for a better place, its a few minutes walk from village..... the charge is 10 euro per night, a place to empty your potti, get some fresh water.. and empty grey water, the owner friendly n its well signposted as you come into Ardmore from dungarvan side, so thumbs up for this one n many more like it :), Ireland slowly catching on

We were there also, Michelle. Pity we didn't know and we could have met up. Someone counted over 110 motorhomes Saturday night, approx half of those were from the Phoenix club. I got talking to a number of them and they appear to be a very nice bunch of people, very similar to us Craickers

I have to agree regarding the phoenix pat, we were in Tralee Easter weekend and met with a friend of ours paddy who is part of the club,
Such a nice bunch with more wooden spoon merchants for winding and stirring for the bit of fun,

We were in nagles doolin and it was packed, really good to see a well run site packed but still room to move freely and all units spaced properly

Hi there, glad to hear this is a good spot and thinking of heading there next week with family. Is it ever so busy that you can't get a space and we'll need a back up plan?

I'd be surprised if it filled to capacity. The main parking field is around 3 acres and the overflow is another 2... That'd be a LOT of motorhomes!
