What a shame i really feel for those who own it as they have looked after it so well. Just hope they get it returned intact. Folk who do this need the force of the law but unfortunately the law is a laugh at the moment.

Hope they get it back with no damage, or else written off so they will get paid from the insurance company,

Not nice to have something stolen,

As jack has said the law is a joke,

Shiv theres no point in catching them as they will be treated with kid gloves. Hard as it is they might be better not getting it back as sometimes they are damaged beyond reasonable repair.

As some of you know we also have a caravan as well as our camper.
Well we have had TWO caravans stolen and both recovered one before payout and one after.
We were "Lucky" with the one we got back as it was undamaged but as it was the day before we were due to go on holiday with our two young children it was fully loaded but recovered empty when we were due to have come home from holiday.
But you know what neither I or Maureen where able to sleep in that van again, we did try but came home after one sleepless night. The van just wasn't ours anymore sold it within a week and yes you have guessed it, it was that van that was stolen about a year later.
They did catch the Bs who took the first van and guess what they got a let off (fined £25 and 10 hrs community service).
Re the second van it was recovered about 5 YEARS later we received a call from the Caravan Club as we had registered stolen with them and someone had checked the register before buying it

Hope they find the Van in good nick and if they do who ever it belongs to can welcome it back into their lives.

David
