Hi Micklad . There are bolts at each side of the battery tray that have to be taken out and the tray hinges down enough to take the battery out of the tray Remember to spray them with penetrating oil beforehand otherwise u could break the captive nut that the bolts are screwed into. It is a very poor setup for a battery to be located outside a Motorhome . I recently relocated the battery to under the seat in the hab area and was able to fit 2x 110ah batteries that the customer wanted. A much better setup and easier to get at for maintenance .
