The Motor Caravan Tourism Organisation is working on the same issues as Motorcaravanning Ireland.
We have contacted every local authority in Scotland, Wales and England using freedom of information requests.
We now have a map on our website showing where it is possible to park a motorhome and where it is not. There are some overnight stops that permit sleeping some of these also have some services although not continental style dump facilities yet.
The authorities in England, Scotland and Wales have a particular anti Motor Caravan attitude and we are trying hard to break this down. We are far behind Ireland on this but we are working on it.
