Can't believe its day 5 already , we have been so lucky with the weather and with recommendations from fellow craicer's we have stopped over at great locations along the Erne / Shannon waterways . Tonight we are at Drumsna poi ( near Carrick on Shannon ) and the sun is shinning yet again . The BBQ is lit and we are chilling out with a glass of vino watching the boats go by , as BIzz plays with yet another new friend .

Shhhhhh
This is from Bizz......grrr, Mummy & Daddy are away to the pub in the village.
I am happy finding new friends along the way.
My daddy is boring the tits off everybody with his singing! Can't wait for Tipp meeting.
I am liking the left over bits of sirloin from the BBQ.'s and I love the lakes and canals.

Hello Bizz, hope you're enjoying your holiday, i am well impressed with your writing skills, i was 2 before i could write and i know you're still a pup. Its good to meet new friends and i hope none of them are like Rufus who is a big growling twit, grr grr grr - dont get me started. I dont get much sirloin as my Mammy doesnt like red meat, and Daddy only eats it when Mammy cant see! so i hope you enjoy it, sounds yummy. I love swimming, and i hope to do lots in the Isle of Man next week, if my Daddy doesnt get me and Mammy to sit in a hedge and watch bikes wizz past at 180miles per hour (as your still a pup - i mean faster than a greyhound). As long as you and your Mammy like your Daddys singing, who cares. My Mammy sings all the time and i love her most in the whole world but she is not a very good singer (if anyone told her i would bite them). Have a great holiday and enjoy Tipp, will catch up with you soon. Hopefully you will continue to grow as you are a little short at the moment.

Hey all my doggy mates.
My daddy has only just manged to find full internet connection with his new Ireland 3 SIM card. 20 euros for 30 sleeps, for 15 doggy bites. I am having a great time, loads of Irish doggy mates along the way. They made me run alongside their bikes today for about 3 miles then I passed out & slept for 2 hours. Last night we stayed at Portumna & they took me into places which gave then black drink in big glasses. We are now at Terryglass and the sun is shining. I heard daddy say there are places nearby which give that black drink so I think we are going there later.
Mummy was able to get her head fur blow dried & there are lovely showers.
Anyway have to go chase a ball. There are 23 sleeps left, catch you later.
It's mummy's birthday tomorrow, daddy's got a card but he said she would have to wait a day to get a present.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, woooof
Mr Bizz

Flans Ireland tour

Lovely day here in Garry Kennedy marina, beside Lough Derg. Usual waterways facilities, showers toilets, laundry etc. We have been using the Waterways Ireland cards which have 10 units loaded on each, toilets free, 2 units for a shower, 5 units for washing machine, 5 for tumble drier. Card costs about 7 euros, available in various shops, etc along the way.
We watched the second half of the footie last night in Larkins pub right beside the marina. Nice pub, poor footie! We are taking Mr BIzz a walk into the wee town, will have lunch somewhere then off again. Having a look at Killaloe, Scariff & Mountshanon to decide which one to stay at tonight. They are all close together. The sun is shining and the wind has died away.
We love Ireland!!!
Woof woof, so do I!

Day13 and the days are starting to fly by so quickly . Wed night we stayed at Mountshannon yet again a great spot . John got to watch the football on a big screen although the match wasn't so good . I was really happy I found a nail bar and was able to have my nails done . Thursday we had a bit of a detour to visit Adare so glad we did it's a beautiful village with lots to see. We stayed in Glin a stopover mentioned on here before ,it's a great spot with pubs ,shops and a great walking area so Mr Bizz was happy and he met more new friends . We are now heading back up country to meet up in Clonakenny .

Flans van you're like Duffy's Circus touring Ireland. One night and one night only used to be their slogan. You seem to be having a great time which goes to show if we had the weather here we don't need to go anywhere else. Continue to enjoy.

Yes Jack we will. Still 12 more sleeps before home. After Nore Brook we zoomed down to Cobh which is lovely, had good crack with other motorhomers & sampled lovely seafood in The Quays. Had a lazy start then Stayed at Garrettstown Strand, great wee beach for Mr Bizz, really quiet after tea time, listening to the waves crashing about 10 feet from the van. Today we doubled back a few miles & trekked around lovely Kinsale, had chowder & fresh cod at Dino's, great lunch for €17, loads of great wee shops, reminds us of the towns in Cornwall but better Craic! We are heading further south west tonight.
******A special thanks to Ken also as I easily found the LPG filling point in Cork. The guy filled our 2 x big gas bottles for less than €18, my little adaptor saved me about €32!!*****
We off again after using the massive Eurospar beside the fire station. Great place to leave the van for a few hours to go walkabout

After Kinsale we ended up at Mizzen Head for the wee tour of the signal post lighthouse. Had lunch in the sunshine & found a cracker wee beach at the PoI at Crookhaven. Pub 800m. We sat in the sunset on the beach in the evening & had a singalong. Next day, Lazy start & a walk then ended up in Sneem which is class. We passed through Kenmare which has a great pOI at the pier and a busy wee town. Staying at sneem until Sunday at the €10 aire beside the river. Lovely spot. Pay at Dan Murphy's bar, live music at every pub tonight.

You'll be sung out and no voice by the time you get home. Maybe the Guinness will keep the voice box lubericated.
