Hi all, my fridge dos'nt appear to be holding the temperture ( on 12 volt ) when I'm driving, I'm wondering if there's any simple test I can do to check if the element is Ok, . Any suggestions would be appreciated , Thanks Simon

Daft question but when you start the engine does the 12v light come on on the fridge when you switch it over, if not the fuse is the most likely

Thanks for the reply heanorboy , yes the light is on, it's one of those ,so called, smart fridges that changes over it's self.

Can you confirm it works fine on gas and mains electric?

The fridges (auto ) dont work that well on 12v i find, especially in this warm weather

The problem is often in the supply to the fridge from the MH.
