Hi Jetty - i was in kilkenny for the cat laughs on the june bank holiday and i stayed at the library - i had heard about it somewhere and tried it out . As i arrived there i met a meter warden and asked about staying - lovely man - told me if i paid a few euro to cover the parking until 6pm , it would cover me till the tuesday morning ( this was saturday lunchtime ) . there was another motorhome with us and all was ok ( some loud disco not too far away but no big problems ) . The spaces are adequate and its very central. If you can find the main road ( i think its John street ) where Langtons is - the bridge down the road seems to be the centre of the city - there is a Dunnes stores carpark on one side of the river - the other side is the library and you drive down the side of the pub on the corner ( i think its called Matt the Millers ) .
