seat won't recline

hi folks, the passenger seat in my ford transit camper won't fully recline, the knob that reclines the seat seems to be jammed after a small turn! any idea's?

There is probably something stuck in the mechanism, usually a small coin or something like that. My eldest son is always getting his jammed like that.

Years ago I took a company car back to a dealership in anger as the sunroof had refused to close in a thunderstorm, only to discover that the choc ice stick that I had previously thrown out through it was lying in the track

Made me laugh and then made me think.... Why do cars not have sunroofs any more???

Strangely top end cars with aircon are now coming with sunroofs again as popular options

You are probably better off removing the seat, turn it upside down and check all its mechanics. Anything stuck in it might fall out.

my last vehicle (nissan navara pickup) had both aircon and sunroof, I think in the four years I had it I never once opened the thing. With aircon they are as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike

My seat on the Adria Renault stuck and after some thought I held the lever pulled it forward and the pushed it back with my back while sitting in it and it worked.
