Have you the cover off the outside of it?. Mine wont light if the cover is on.

Mine's started doing that. If I take the outer cover off it will light and stay lit. It will then light OK for the rest of the day with the cover on.
The following day it'll be back to square one - driving me nuts! 🇧🇭

Surely the cover is meant to stay off when it is being used!

By cover, I mean the outer cowling which is supposed to stay on all the time.

Referring back to the original post, the red LED means that the flame has gone out / not lit.

The cover on my outer cowling is meant to stay off when the boiler is in use.

Hi alley make sure you have enough water in your system the heater won't come on if you don't have water through your system also if your leisure batt is low it won't ignite your heater and make sure your gas is def on ie ensure that the gas and 12 volt supply are on, turn on at wall switch, if green light shows heater is working, if green and red light shows after 10 sec press the off wait 3 mins,s and press on again, if green and yellow light showthen the voltage is to low recharge batt try it on the 240 volt heater switch which should be beside the carver switch

Hi ally after reading my handbook the red and green lights together shows that the buner has failed to light in the 10 sec ignition period this is due to failure of the gas supply so turn on your gas and light others ie cooker fridge to make sure that the gas is getting through also there is a cut off valve beside the heater make sure it's on. Hope this helps

Hi hillton9, it did work for couple mins then cut out again! Getting gas to all other appliances' must be something to do with gas jets to boiler? Thanks for your advice!

If you could get the burner out try cleaning the jets as they can get gummed up over time

Another way to check it out ,take the outer cover of 4 screws then then there is an inner cover remove this will show you the burner ask someone to turn the unit on and see what happens the ingniter clicks for a few mins if it don't light you don't have any gas if you don't have a spark it will be the control box , this can be removed by removing two screws and disconnecting the lead from the back of the unit it will eather have a 4 pin plug or a din socket you can then test your lead to see if your getting power to the unit you can get another one of e bay I have the name of a bloke who brakes caravans but I'll have to find his number if you have no further luck let me know and I'll try to get his number
