Trabolgan Holiday Village

Just wondering if anyone has any information or stayed at Trabolgan Holiday Village? I am looking somewhere for a week as we will have our 12 year old grandson with us. He is active and very sporty and likes to be doing something most of the time. If you know of other places that would suit let me know.

We stayed there about 12 years ago and the kids loved it.
If it as good now I would say go for it.

The area for motorhomes and caravans was on a hill but the pitches are level.

Maybe someone else as been more recently.

my ten year old grandson had a great time there last year . It a great place for kids and i would have to say we found the food very good. It can be expensive but we gave our grandson a set amount every day and he had to manage his own money. Enjoy and try to take in the whole area not just Trabolgan.

As we were nearby we called in on Sunday coming back from Cobh. We had some great times here when our kids were small. Anyway we picked up a brochure but as the place was full ( good sign I suppose)we could not go in. Anyway for a week on site from June 27th to August 28th is €605. 3 nights weekend is €290 and 4 midweek nights is €387. So as you can see it's not cheap

Hi Jack,

Have been many times over the years, both in mh and house's, it' is quite expensive but worth it, we normally go in a large group and take a large house , or smaller 1 and bring the mh.
Some of the parking bays are in a wooded area and are quite sheltered, I think bays 1 2 3 4 are the best, these are on top of the hill and have a good view.
The complex is well run, and the entertainment is great. If you grandson could bring a friend with him I think he would enjoy it better.
Only downfall is that's a long drive for you.

Have booked for a week in August and the lady was most helpful. Thanks for all the advice. It worked out at 400 euros for the week which is not bad.

Jetty,

Thanks for the book of vouchers for Trabolgan. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity. My grandson has already decided that he wants to use most of them so thanks so much.
