Here we come..at last!

Well at last our holiday is here, were on the ferry to Belfast, not many on board, few motor homes and about 10 tuggers.

Really looking forward to the views, the parks, the beaches, the Guinness and of course the friendly people we meet along the journey.

We have booked sat night at Shanogue then after that nowhere booked, my idea is up and over the top and down the west, giants causeway, Bushmils for tipple, That's all the plans we need! :up: but always nice to get suggestions?

So if ya see us, gis a wave, me and Uska the guide dog will see you :D Joanne might not...

Have a great holiday, hopefully the weather will be kind. A few of us will be at battery bar next Sat if you're in the vicinity drop in, great spot on the shore of the Lough.

Well the good weather seems to have shifted, but na bother!
We are Buncrana tonight, think we will be on the Flaherties for some traditional music and a drink or four... We have met some lovely people on our way, and it's only Wednesday!
This tourist aire is fab, and of course we will be spending our euros in the town for dinner and then entertainments.. If more places get on this Idea then they will get more spending, we do all over France. :up:
Met one of the craic'ers nice chat and one from uk wildcamping group...

We are undecided whether to go to the battery bar or to shanogue. Ally is making the decision and we will put it on the forum. It would be lovely to meet you and hopefully you will join us in Ally's chosen venue.

Dooh, the gas burner has failed so it will be aires or sites now so we can have shower using mains side of heater.

Well that's it, we are waiting for the ferry home, we had a great time, met some lovely people, seen some great places and even topped up our tan.... Thank you Ireland!
The Poi map was worth every penny of the membership, we used many places for wilding and for lunch stops, as always for those who are new to Wildcamping "use your common sense, if your not happy move on" Shame so many places are fitting height barriers, but that makes it more important for members to update the administrators, when we did stop in the towns and villages we spent our money locally.

I use wildcamping.co.uk at home it gives the poi for wilding when you pay the membership like Motorhome Craic... If your coming through Belfast Liverpool (Birkenhead) send me a message we have room on the front verge for a stopover, but bring some Irish humour with ya. :D :D

The exhaust snapped on the way intoBelfast so a temp repair with a small tin of sweet corn will get us home, the shower will get fixed soon, but we managed with a few visits to sites and some POI had power.

We will be back and as soon as we arrive we will do the south tour ...such a beautiful country, great places and great Craic :up: :up:
