Not if you put Fiat mirrors on the a Renault but then that would be degrading the quality of the a Renault.

I cannot fault the renault master, so far (touch wood) nothing major has gone wrong, it gives decent economy and performance, it's easy to drive. Can't ask for much more than that. Compared to some of the horror stories about other chassis makes you could say it is a quality product, but there again you never hear the good stories. Would I buy another renault based motorhome, without a doubt. Would I buy another renault car, not on your life  been there done that and don't want to do it again. Would those that drive a fiat ducatto based motorhome buy a fiat car?

Funny you said that about the Fiat car, John! There was a time and I wouldn't touch a Fiat, but about 10 years ago I took my oldest Daughter to a Garage to buy her first, a Opel Corsa but she didn't like the colour of it, but she did spot this fiat Punto that she liked so we did the deal, it was €1000 cheaper than the Opel. Anyway to make a long story short, she drove it for three years, then her younger sister drove it for three more years before it passed on to my son who drove it for a further two years and in that time the only trouble it gave was a broken exhaust pipe and the oil was never changed in it. I recon it was the best car that ever came into the yard and I could say the same about the Motorhome.

I have to agree with the comments about Renault based motorhomes.
We were reluctant to change from our Renault master Knaus to a Fiat based Motorhome but did earlier this year. It was the deal that made us go for it so only time will tell.

I am on my 6th Motorhome since I went Motorhoming first, 5 of them were Fiat including my present one X250 I can honestly say that I have never had any bother with any of them even my first one which was a CF Bedford CI Motorhome with a Nissan Urvan Diesel engine fitted and it flew everywhere without problems on the smell of fuel :D
