We had a client in the office recently and he said we are due 11 glorious weeks weather, something to do with the hedgegrow....

Laughed at the time as it was chuckin it down, but hey, roll on the next 11 weeks.

Thunder and lightening here in co Galway for last half hour, the heavy rain didn't arrive yet but I have a feeling it's not far off now,

Have spent most of the day intermittently sitting under the lawn sprinkler at the shaded side of the house.
I never have been a sun worshipper, I prefer snow. Too bloody hot even in the shade, I was planning a week away in the van this week but think I would die of heatstroke in such a small metal box.

It's the humidity that's the problem here. It has been 27 C most of the day but hit 29C around 3.00.
I wouldn't thank you for a hot holiday, last time I went was to the Canaries for a fortnight, I flew home after a week.

:D much better than I did once when spreading slurry, something jammed in the tail funnel, I closed the valve and went to release the funnel to clear it. However it was a large block of wood and it had prevented the valve from shutting and as I released the clip on the funnel I was blasted down the field by an entire tanker of cow poop. :sick:
It was a hot day and it started to dry like a mud pack. I had to be hosed down outside before I could get a shower. Could taste it for weeks afterwards. :sick:

Trying to bring home the last of my turf and it's too hot in the bog,
The dexta isn't liking it either so it's time for a nice cool can from the fridge (too early for green cans :'( )

I used factor 30 all over but I forgot the little spot on top of my head where the hair is getting thin O-)

Shiv I think a lot if folk did the same. I tried to contact so many folk in the hospital and all I got was there answer phone saying they were in a meeting and unavailable. I know it was some meeting who do they think they are able to fool.
