Very dangerous situation at the moment across parts of Europe which are currently experiencing severe storms. Notably Germany where a huge supercell has been developing, the storm is currently around the size of Ireland. Sudden High winds and Tornadoes are highly likely some possibly strong, along with extremely intense rainfall and large hail.
France and the Netherlands are also being affected by severe storms.

That reminds me of getting caught in a hurricane in New Orleans a year to the day of their big disaster. Not pleasant at all. Delayed by two days because of it. Hope no one is hurt.

All quiet here in Royan but we did have some thunder storms at night last weekend but nothing like that we could leave out the awning

Spoke to my parents last night. They are in Central France and have had 7 days of low 30's. It was 10pm there when we spoke and it was 24 degrees.

Friends are in Cap agde and it has been in the high twenties. Some heavy showers which are short lived.
