I am hoping to move here premaritally (new relationship :-) ) until she retires in a few years time and then we will head back to Mayo. but your right it is a beautiful place language is very hard and I am struggling with it to be truthful. Going to bring the motorhome over in a couple of months - if you do bring the motorhome beware that they have just put tolls on parts the M0 motorway around Budapest - this is new since the 1st of Jan.
