Have any of you heard of the Paddy Dakar charity event that takes place in Doon Co Limerick every year?
I did it back in 2011 and it was some laugh. I'm planning to do it again this year in September.
Just putting the word out incase any of y'all with enduro/off road capable bikes might be interested.
Its basically a day of orienteering on bikes for middle aged & unfit men (and women)
. 70% on-road, 20% off-road on gravel forestry trails and about 10% of semi challenging muddy or rocky trails. Nothing OTT. Just a good day out (and a weekend of gargle).

Typical accommodation, although last year there were a few motorhomes too.

Restricted to 150 riders/bikes and registration started last Monday, 19th May..
