Not sure where to post this...

Our camper has a bit of damp in the alcove. The rails need resealing. The bill to do the front alcove resealing was 600 euro. So I thought I'd give it a try myself.

I need a dry spot to park the camper for a couple weeks.

Any suggestions welcome!

Thanks-
Matt

Oops! We are near Limerick now. But just about anywhere will do.

It would be great to find a spot up near Sligo because we'd love to a bit of surfing while doing this project. But we'd be happy elsewhere as well.

So dry storage is what we need, where we can work on the camper & hopefully even stay in it while working.

I have this list of mh & caravan storage places. I'll try a few of those tomorrow. Two more days of sun & then I need to get into a place.

Keep your eyes peeled for one of the very many unused but still structurally sound farm buildings or barns in fields all over the island, the more picturesque the better. Call to the nearest house politely with a broad smile, ask is it theirs, tell them of your plight and offer them €50 and a bottle of red wine until the jobs finished and dry and get on with it.....

Things can be still simple like old times ya know....

It's a good plan, and it sounds like some fun could be had as well.

But for now I think I'm going to need a dehumidifier to dry out the camper while I do the work.

I'm going to try boatyards. One right here I'll ask tomorrow.

Thanks fellas
Matt
