Hi all

Sorry for appearing a bit dim but I thought it better to ask the people with knowledge rather then buying the wrong thing.

I currently have no TV in our camper , what would I need for a basic set up of saerview say?
Least hassle with set up please, is it simply a TV with saerview and basic aerial or am I better to look at a dish? Not really bothered about how many channels, just for the odd morning of kids TV or watching the news at night, thanks

Padraig

12volt tv in my opinion is your best bet. You can go for a 240 volt and use an inverter but personally I don't see a reason for this other than they are cheaper to buy, but batteries don't like inverters.

The Walker 12volt LED TV is very good, I have one and I am very impressed with it. Very easy to tune every time you park (which is something you have to do). As with a lot of them, it also takes a memory stick or an external hard drive via USB. So you can bring movies with you on a USB pen drive and watch them if you are in a remote area with no signal.

As you are in Kerry I am pretty sure the TV you buy will be Mpeg4 anyhow, that will also work in the North as it is backwards compatible and the format there is mpeg2.

If you are using it in Ireland & UK only then an aerial is sufficient. Most fit a Status directional aerial.

I can get a Walker 22" delivered directly to you if you want. It would be sent from Dublin so cheap postage.

Just PM me.
