Hi Folks,

We are not sure how true this story is, but allegedly there
has been reports of a large yellow ball in the sky, people have been
saying there is heat coming from it. We at Craic have yet to witness
this strange event but we are keeping a close eye.

The holidaying season is not quite here yet, but that hasn't
deterred our members, they have been meeting up in Wild Camping spots
in all sorts of crazy weather, we hear they have been keeping
themselves warm with the help of someone called Morgan Spice. We hear
there has been a few casualties along the way and some not getting up
to early the next day, it must be the cold weather. It all sounds like
great fun! why not join in? post where you are heading in our new
section "Craic's meeting place! " and you never know who might turn
up!

Our thanks this moth have to go our member "JAG147", who has offered
to get MotorhomeCraic stickers made for every member! all out of his
own pocket! many thanks John!

We have arranged our Campsite review section into 4 groups
"Connaught, Leinster, Munster and Ulster, please post your reviews
into these sections, if we all posted one, there would be quite a
few.

I think that's about all for this month, we hope to meet up with you
all at some stage in 2012....... just one more thing.... if you have
joined and never posted, why not introduce yourself in the Welcome to
MotorHomeCraic! section, we don't bite!

Keep 'er truckin...

Ally & Mark

Febuary 2012.

It's us again, the team at Motorhomecraic.com

Things are hotting up on the forums as the new season comes upon us, the weather seems to be picking up and some great rallies are being posted to the forums.

Our usermap has now over 120 points, and growing, of VERIFIED wildcamping spots, these will be converted for your SatNavs very shortly so that you can bring them with you when touring Ireland. If you have any spots that you would like added then please let us know.

We have a new "Map admin" Hymer 524 who has taken on the painstakingly slow task of adding all the WC spots to the map, so thanks to him!

We now have a Facebook page, if you use FB then why not give us a "Like" ?http://www.facebook.com/pages/Motorhomecraic/140018726091316

There are still loads of Craic stickers available and you can find out how to get your hands on one in the forums.

We are growing all the time and now have over 100,000 hits and 253 members, it has only been 6 months so we are heading in the right direction!

Latest topics include: Motorhome Insurance, Baileys withdrawal of the 10 year warranty, Broughshane Aires and many many more!

Hope to see you all at our Antrim and Killkenny Meets. Have a great Season!

The Craic team.

Welcome to the April 2012 Newsletter from MototrhomeCraic.com

DONAGHY’S GALA WEEKEND
We would like to begin this month by offering a big thanks to Donaghy’s Motorhomes, Letterkenny. The Gala weekend was well worth visiting. This message has been thoroughly reinforced by the comments on the thread about this event. We were given the opportunity to promote our website at the weekend and it was very helpful. We were surprised by how many motohome owners had still not heard of us. Thanks to Deirdre and Julie everyone there was made aware before heading for home.
We look forward to attending the next one.

JUNE BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND
The Early June Bank Holiday weekend has been extended to include Tuesday for the Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations (for those lucky enough to get it off) We have received an invitation to The Battery Bar, Cookstown near Lough Neagh. There will be entertainment laid on for the Friday and Saturday evenings.
Details can be found on the Members Locations tab on the site menu.
If you interested in attending please visit this link. forum/topic.php?t=1030

UPDATE : NARIN, DONEGAL
We have been made aware that there is a problem with using the previously listed Overnight location at Narin, Donegal. It is now suggested that we use either of the local campsites in the area.
As this information has come from a MotorhomeCraic member who lives in the area we suggest our members no longer stop along the beach parking area. We are more than welcome in the Tavern Pub.
--------------------------------------
CHAT ROOM
We have temporarily switched off the Craic chat room. There were some minor issues with the software which are being worked on at present. We will announce once it is up and running again.
--------------------------------------
NEW MEMBERS
There has been a massive influx of new members this month and we would like to welcome them all. Our system has an automatic greeting created to welcome all new members. Please try to post a reply with a few brief details about yourself. You may be surprised at the replies you get.
--------------------------------------
CAMPSITE REVIEWS
Please remember to keep the reviews of your favourite campsites coming. You might know about it but someone else may not. We have it broken down into regions to make them easier for others to find.
--------------------------------------
WINDSCREEN STICKERS
Our first run of MotorhomeCraic windscreen stickers has now run out. We will try to have more manufactured soon. This info will be announced on the forum.
Remember to watch out for the stickers when you are out and about.
--------------------------------------
SUPPORTERS
We would like to thanks our advertisers for their continued support. We encourage members to use the supporters whenever possible. Please remember to visit their websites through the links on our site. They are able to track where their traffic is coming from and the more hits from us the better.

The wee bug we had that stopped a few members getting the FULL newsletter once a month via email should now be fixed.
