Hi all I am traveling to ireland from the Isle of Man for a week
Can anyone advise what data SIM card I can get pay as you go for an unlocked I phone or a mifi

Best one is a 3 sim which can be bought with various levels of data on it and allows roaming into the south or north depending where you buy it

You can buy it either in Northern Ireland which then puts you on the uk network and you can roam into the south at no extra cost or buy it in the south and roam into the north(uk) network whichever port is your point of landing is probably where to buy it

I usually buy them from ebay. It's cheaper to buy a new one with X allowance on it that it is to top an existing one up.

You can buy them like that in the Three shop also.

1Gb lasts for 1 month £10.49
3gb lasts for 3 months £20.49
12gb lasts for 12 months £70.49

How much usage are you thinking of Bill?

I looked at lefrenchmobile.com but worked out using my home network and paying the £3 per day charge could work out cheaper as you use your own bundle.

I've thought of a 3 gig card, I only use it for reading emails and Skype calls with the kids, by the way Sat is working perfectly.

Bill

Skype is fairly hard on the usage. I have been told it is about 1mb per minute.
