I always stay at Treegrove because it is withing walking distance of Kilkenny.
Nore valley is too far out to walk.

I have heard it is very nice.

Nore valley is a nice site if you have a young family. its an open farm with a rustic feel. They have a small shop on site for some home made produce (fresh eggs, Bread, Cookies etc.) The highlight for our kids was bottle feeding the Lambs in the morning and evenings and they get to hold some baby Rabbits. There are nice walks around the farm and down to the river which runs along side the farm. We stayed twice and enjoyed it both times. Hope you do to.
