Hi

We've just bought our first motorhome :D :D , we have 3 teenagers and a baby a year old.

Would love to hear about some sites which cater for families, kids love the water and sports, dad enjoys fishing, bbq's and beers, while mum enjoys chilling out, beaches, pools and a sneaky bottle of wine and a good book O-)

looking forward to hearing your replies

If you havent been out and about in your motorhome yet why not try the likes of Benone Complex as its beside the beach, has a small pool, and is near a chippy and shop as well as not being too far from home in case things go disastrously wrong on your first outing. Then see about going further afield.

Were yee not talking there for a good few years or what?!? :D

Sorry, ignore me lolol.... Achill island is great for families and kids. Cafe, chippy, shop, scenery, the Atlantic (and all associated sports), lively funfair all season beside the site so teenagers can skulk off and find new girlfriends/boyfriends. It's not an awful long distance from Derry either.

Thanks for that guys :)

Fat Controller, thank you Benone is a beautiful spot and your right about not going too far on our first few trips :) , we'll have to take it to the show in Moire this year, we normally check in somewhere.

lol whippy , just read back what i wrote it seems a bit dodgy now ha ha , my mothers people are from Achill, I spent all my holidays there growing up, your right its a great spot. Just a shame they closed the Minaun Bar down, that was our teenage hangout, the pool table in the Minaun lol
