Hello there. We have an Autosleeper Stargazer. We are coming over to Ireland for about 3 weeks during May from the UK. We are hoping to do some wild camping also some sites. My parents came from Monaghan so we will be visiting there as well as Mayo Connemara Galway the Wicklow Mountains and of course Dublin. Its our first visit with the motorhome. Its also my husbands first visit to Ireland and he is looking forward to experiencing the craic.
There does not seem to be many sites around Monaghan does any one know of any locations for stopping over.
Thanks very much
Colette and Geoff

Welcome to the Craic.

I don't know of any stopovers near Monaghan.
If it is Monaghan town you are talking about you will find plenty of places to stop about an hour away in Fermanagh.

Are you attending the MCC national rally?

Hi Mark
Thank you for that.No we are not going to the rally. Family have offered to let us stay on their drive so we think for Monaghan we are now sorted.
Take care Colette.
