Had a great trip stayed right by the sea and fell asleep to the waves crashing other campers around so pretty safe great place if you are into water sports 2 surf shops and kite surfing school. Woke up to 15-20 wind surfers doing there thang (looks great fun) shop and of course pub within walking distance, the supermarket is about a 20 min cycle. Beautiful walkways/cycle paths well recommend spending a weekend :-)

It's on my list for a long stay during the summer with my sons when home in Ireland so thanks for the info.

What's the rate & will I get a large American RV down the roads to it and into/onto the site/hard stands?

Thank you.

Was there two years ago , lovely spot. I heard that it was badly eroded by the storm, Is that true?

It is beautiful whippy :-) We just stayed by the beach which is free :-) and there is plenty of room to park your rig although the surface is a bit uneven but other than that its fine where we stayed is down by the green rooms pub . The roads are a little narrow but we get up and down no prob so with a little care im sure you will with ur rv. There are 2 sites in Castlegregory which are 20-25 depends on the season if you are planning on staying there longer. Ya Pat if you stayed where we were the water came up as far as the stone walls just before the houses the road is fixed now but it has taken some of green area
