Disposal of rubbish

I have just witnessed two motorhomes with northern number plates who where travelling in a convoy of 4 leave black bags of rubbish beside the bottle banks in killahoey beach near dunfanaghy.
This is disgraceful and will only give motorhomers a bad name as I am sure I am not the only one who witnessed this. We must take our rubbish home or dispose of it in a proper manner

Totally agree, but at least they didn't leave it scattered all over the place.

It will be shortly if there are dogs or crows around!

Shame on them. It's a pity you didn't get their registration numbers and name and shame them.

i was one of them
we had a meal in golf course on sunday night and asked about rubbish bins
staff told us to bag rubbish and leave beside the recycle bins with all the day trippers bags and it gets lifted.

There we go, just proves how something innocent can be judged wrong by jumping to conclusions.

I think it is a joke that the councils in the South do not provide litter bins very widely. I know that times are tough down there but it is a bit pathetic. I seem to recall that bins were scarce even before the slump.

This is an issue quite often for boat users as well.

The theory of take your rubbish home is very laudable, but I get fed up dumping rubbish in shop bins. Finding bins is nearly a bigger priority than finding water or cassette emptying.

Have not resorted to fly tipping but it can be frustrating.

Davy
