Don't do what Dan in Treegrove campsite did and make them so high it takes real effort to get up or down them.

In inches,17 1/2" long 4" wide 8 1/2" high depending on where you buy them. by the time you bed them ,2 blocks is aprox 3 feet long.and 2 blocks are aprox 18" high. thats the size of turley bros blocks in Newry.

BTW
That's the size of the block not the finished size, allow for 10 mil beds :)

Did I just mix inches with metric

225 x 450 x 100 with beds

As far as I know a standard step should be 7.5" high, (vague memory from the staging days) :up:

I'm going to make steps not a bed, whats this about 10mil and 3/8

I was thinking of block on its side and paving stone on top, could that be 71/2 inches!

I might just make everyone jump off the deck, its going to be too much bother and making my head hurt

Yeah mad max I agree we are a clever bunch in here if we've got the proper info. It's certainly the lack of info here that has baffled us.

For that size you might might be better with soap bars,............I don't know the dimensions of a soap bar though :(

The size in 98cm = 38.5"

61.5cm = just over 24"

If you know a carpenter it might be easier to get a shutter made up and pour it with a bit of concrete, as it's only going to be 3 steps :up: (then before it sets get the grand kids to put the initials and date on it :lol: :lol:

What are you finishing the top with? Paving slabs?

3 steps at 20 cms each
Blocks on flat (tight) 24 and 12 bricks

I am not good a brick/Block laying cant get the mortar right

Made a set of wooden steps out of decking planks a lot easier to cut to the right size and you only need a few nails to fix it together
