Hey Maurice,
I've seen a few parked around the Arts Centre on what I call the 'roundabouts' road! There seems to be plenty of spaces around that area, you could ask in Caseys garage up the road regarding safety. There has to be plenty of spaces in this town, good luck with it.

Maurice,

Lidl and aldi and tesco car parks are open all the time with no height barriers, don't know what the policy is with overnighting (no signs to say don't)

There's a toy store opposite tesco in same car park that has a kind of separate little car park that should be quiter, might be worth a look,

The church car park has plenty of space, but at the edge of the town and fairly dark (may not be ideal but worth a look aswell)

Also trucks park at the rear of caseys filling station (supermacs) which is well lit up and would be my 1st choice,

If you are needing directions to any of the above ill pm my phone number

Don't be tempted by supermacs food in that particular outlet

Norio morelli's (Italian chippy)is just across the roundabout where you get a real spud chipped

I have never had a pint in Rosco so cannot comment on a good spot but there's plenty to choose from,

How do you get to the stages? Bicycle of scooter?

I'd love to go to the mkII challenge in Carlow but that's hope fully we will be getting off the ferry in Cherbourg,

Enjoy the weekend,

we normally go the day before the rally get the rally programme then drive through the stages and get somewhere to park in the middle of the stage and stay for the day (3 stage rally run 3 times)

You are bringing back memories there, John!
Morellie's moved to Roscommon from Tipperary town in the late 70's or early 80's. There is nothing like them since.

That's for sure,

Last weekend we were on the way home and we waited for morelli's as it's worth it, the wrecker even licked his fingers when he was finished :-)

Now that's good thinking,

I'll keep that in mind for next time I get a chance to see a stage

Maurice,

I'm supposed to work tomorrow but I have a feeling the job may be cancelled, if it is I might take a spin to roscommon and probably tie up with you and get a few stages,

Pm me your number and I'll let you know how I'm fixed
