Good Afternoon All,
since replacing a heap of Rubbers on the front of Hessy and she has settled herself - the outside of my tyres are balding EXTREMELY quickly >_< Too Positive of a Camber angle :'(

I called Simon at LTS to no avail as we need a ramp and measuring equipment.

Any ideas of who and what are the ball park prices please?

No - they need a 3 tonne lift with sufficient top height for the roof etc.
Charles Hurst have suggested NI Trucks in Mallusk - get a price for now!

Magowan tyres at Mallusk might be a possibility.

Are you sure it isn't just wheel alignment to much "toe in" would scrub the outside of the tyres.

OK - I called NI Trucks and they said "Sorry we don't do it - call Donnellys" they are Fiat Ducato dealer. "We don't have the right equipment." :'(
I informed the lady that it was a Ducato Van base and she still was not playing ball. 🇧🇭

So I called Donnellys in Mallusk - everyone was busy and they were to call me back.
I waited and guess who called me back to book me in "NI Trucks" :-| :o :-|

When i get the Camber test - sure;y they also check "Toe in" and alignment?

"What a difference a day makes" - or should that be Donnelly Brothers in Mallusk! (Sincere apologies for being late Phil :'( )

Phil took Hessy and placed her on an Electronic tracking machine - which would test the Camber, Toe in, and other angles - then retrieved the original data of what it should be and she was 3.5 degrees off with other Red numbers highlighted for attention.

An hour later - I could feel the road again  - properly - Hessy was driving in my opinion similar to a 3.5 tonne ballerina :'( with bow legs >_< attempting toe tipps!!! :D

A total pleasure to drive again knowing that you are able to get round that corner  ;-)

So - if you are wearing the outside or inside of your tyres - its £ well spent :fgrin:

And I didn't mind the Mechanics sound Hessys "HA-HOOOOOOO-GA" horn :P - it was a mistake at first and it sure does still make your smile after 15 or so blasts!!!! Thanks Phil - great job  :thx:

Caster and camber correction makes a big difference, I had to have it done on the transam after re fitting all the suspension and links, the change was unbelievable. I need it done on the van too as the front tyre wear is not even but have a broken spring and upper control arm bushings to replace beforehand.
