Good Morning All, :bash:
from phoning around yesterday as i am in a similar state of play: The going rates approx for 205/75/R16's is £60 up for Budget "Star something" tyres to £106 plus for Bridgestone or Michellin. That was from suppliers/fitters in Belfast and includes fitting, balancing VAT and getting rid of the old tyre.
The chaps who sell the part worn tyres are £25 and you get what is in stock - its pot luck -tyres may not match, may have nail punctures (which they fix obviously), Winter / Summer Tyre - but they are off various types and ranges of Vans which are stripped out, so what can you expect for £25. The £25 includes VAT, Fitting and balancing and getting rid of old tyre.
I agree with the F.C that the light commercial tyre is an excellent swap for the motorhome tyre as they are all Crossply Steel, have suitable load ratings and sure we dont do plus 60 speeds that often - so there should be no speed issues. I didnt check for the 195/75 R16C as the last time I did there were not that many suppliers and the cost started high - so the light commercial truck tyre was for me - after all Hessy is based on a Ducato commercial van base - so seems logical
If you want to try JB Tyres in Tobermore on 02879 644128 and ask for Philip who is my son-in-law and tell him I sent you ,he should be able to help you with what you want at the right price. His mobile number is 07521 264362 Cheers Willie.
Had a quick shifty and the 16.5 are more rare than Andy at a craic meet, I did however come across this site which you may or may not be aware of

Re: Where is the cheapest place to buy Motor home tyres
UK based but as far as I know the classic lads get them sent to the south, bit wider but they could probably source yours.
Camskill normally are a good bet for American tyres but they only do 16.5 in off road tyres
