Mer Polish gives the van a lovely finish :D
Very easy to work with.
Van sparkles when finished.

Took the powerhose to the roof (not joins/seals) then a brush & motorhome wash. For the stubborn bits for which there where plenty, sprayed some Muc Off on, let it sit for a bit then back in with the brush. Got rid of some tar spots with T-Cut Polish but there's still some left which I need to get back and clear off but that's for another day.

Jack .... err, let me think about that ^_^

citrus pre clean is very good for stubborn bits and it wont take any wax or polish off

it is good for a spot clean too, after rinsing if i see a stubborn bit i spray onto a small brush(paintbrush or 1 inch detail brush)brush on to remove stain then just wipe with a microfibre cloth ... job done

I normally use a red scotchbright and fairy liquid and spray with a spray wax out of laziness. Most marks on the roof sides are caused by stopping on the way to meets at a nearby garage with those crap car washes with the overhead spring loaded lances and brushes, the black dirty hoses trail on the roof edges and sides leaving marks. I spent today cleaning the green of the paths and patio with farmyard cleaning acid so might spend tomorrow on the van roof for an hour or two.

Mad Max - bought her in July 2012. If you look to the right, above the cab, you'll see where I attempted to start same probably late 2012.

I suspect this might be the first time it's been given a proper clean up there since new.
