We got the parade in carrick on Shannon today, (Sunday)

It was a disappointment, there was no atmosphere and the people in the parade looked like they would rather be else where,

When it was over my 4.5 yr old said daddy when does the parade start, :'( :'(

We plan on getting a parade on the way home tomorrow, hopefully it will have a bit more excitement than carrick did

Just arrived in Newcastle after 3 nights in Downpatrick.
The town was great. A real buzz about the place.

Another van arrived during the night but never saw anyone about it, and another arrived today some guy from Antrim but not a craicer. The parade was great it took about an hour to pass and added a great festive feel to the town, the grandkids even got to play on the beach and were in paddling but home now absolutely knackered

Hope you all had a great Patricks weekend. Rugby was brilliant. We headed off to Portumna Sunday. Over 20 vans there, another 7 or so over in Terryglass. Back for the local parade today as the kids were taking part.

We only managed to get away for one night, we went to Killarney Saturday evening and stayed in the Flesk Caravan park, The site was nearly full of Motorhomes when we got there as The Pheonix Motorhome club were holding a rally there this weekend.

Was it any cheaper than in high season? They are expensive later in the year.

€30 including ehu, €25 without!
I think I better not say what the club paid but it was a hell of a lot less.

We had a great night in the Gleneagle, John.
The guy that told me what the Club paid knows Paddy.

Have read about people suing over late night electric turnoff with medical conditions, only suggesting try tripadvisor and Google
