Short term we should be ok, but long term everything will be rebadged and have to conform to the corporate way of doing things i.e. ripping people off

Well FC it's part of Stena's DNA so we will not be surprised. Rory will not be in the picture then unfortunately. Why Stena is allowed to take everything over beats me.

So sad to see Celtic go. We travelled with campervan to France late August/early September for a fare of €273.00 return + reserved seats on outward journey and cabin on return. Total cost c330.00. Off again late May/mid-June this year for €383.00 with cabins on both journeys. (Missed the "Craic" discount). One would have to pay more from N.Ireland to Scotland for a mere few hours on ferry.

Thats Stena on all the routes out of Ireland if Ryanair tried that they would be stopped in their tracks by the competition authority

May be we should contact Michael o Leary and suggest a ferry route to the uk and france :police:

Could you imagine that, a fare for say a tenner plus taxes and a daft Beugal before you dock :lol:

I'd say the frills would cost ya though :lol:

I'm going to Scotland in the morning, return fare for midweek sailings (MH same price as car) £249 with Stena.

Only roughly £200 more than from England to France :cense:
