I got a ring 12v awning light with pir delivered and I'm dammed if I can get it open to wire it up the instructions are to to squeeze and prise open I can't budge it any ideas

I gave it to herself she warmed it up on the radiator and it came apart no bother but I still think if I done it myself I would have broken it tks again

Paddyx never direct any pressure of water either from a pressure wash or a hose directly on the PIR as I found to my cost. It will never work again and will always stay on.
Tks jack I won't I can't see it lasting anyway unless I can seal it some way I also got a pir sensor that you wire up to the awning light so hopefully one of them will do the job
