Its not a big job just a few hex nuts to open, you have to slide the seat up and down on its runners to get at them but its simple

Thanks for comments. The issues I had in mind that might create problems were: Fouling handbrake lever or driver seat unable to make 180 degree turn because of steering wheel.javascript:void(0);

::ontopic: :sorry:

The steering wheel isnt a problem as you can move the seat forwards and backwards to get past it, the handbrake is a different matter, mine falls flat again once applied or taken off so is always out of the way, not sure what other vans have.

Don't know how else to describe it, it doesn't stick up the way a handbrake in the car does (my car doesn't even have a handbrake ffs :lol:). You pull it up to apply it and once it engages goes back down, you then pull up on it and press the button to release it and again it goes back down!

I remember collecting my Merc which by the way I hated (worst seat I ever sat in, in a car) ...embarrassing but sat there trying to figure out how to take the hand brake off but too proud to ask...

My range rover doesn't have one at all....pull forward switch and just step on the accelerator to take it off. But I had to laugh at "your going flat...sorry" :D

Hi All! Fitted a "Fasp" swivel seat. No real problems apart from a little problem with the "U" shaped support for the seat belts hitting off retaining bolts. Can be rectified with the hacksaw. A little concerned that this additional support for the seat belt is no longer operative.

I purchased the seat from Blackmore Leisure at £129.99 and it was delivered free to N. Ireland. It is very sturdy.

I want to fit a Swivel Seat to the Passenger seat of a LHD 1998 Ford Transit.I checked the Parts Link above,but they don't list one for the Transit.
I've seen others listed Online,but not sure if they would fit this Model.Most seem to be Listed for Year 2000 Onwards.
Could something like this Fit.?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-…3cd6a68340
Has anyone got one fitted to a Pre 2000 Ford Transit.?
