Old IMCC club magazines

I called around to my mum & dad's place during the week and while I was there my dad asked me if I wanted to have a look through some of his old IMCC mags that he was throwing out. He edited and produced these wee bi-monthly mags when they were active members of the IMCC.

It was a hoot reading back through some of them last night. Some of these mags date back to the early 90's and it's fun to see photos of the older vans and read the rally reports from back in the day. Bowls and horse shoe throwing competitions were very popular for daytime entertainment! I'm not sure if they still produce these mags or not I haven't heard about the club in quite a while.

Plenty to keep me going for the next few days anyway...

Blag I forgot to say some of those could be collectors items and be valuable. It amazing nowadays what people collect. I discovered I had 2 Citroen C6 sales catalogues when I bought the C6. Now they are beautiful so I put one on eBay and got £65 quid for it as apparently the 2008 one was very rare.

Well guys you may joke but a 2008 Citroen C6 Sales Brochure is worth £65 quid. I wish I had taken more of them that day out of Charles Hurst's.

I wasnt joking Jack, to get money for something which at the time is really worthless and you have because like the rest of us you didnt get around to throwing out is a big bonus. I have one or two Triumph posters from a few years back when they were running the Valmoto race team and won at the NW and IOM, they are signed by Jim Moody, Craig Jones and a couple of others associated with the team at the time probably not worth much at the minute but possibly in the future.

FC you bet? Put them on eBay and you'll see what they are worth and I guess they are worth quite a lot.

I worked for Apple Computers from '88 to '96 and over the course of that time the company gave out tee shirts to the employees on a regular basis for different product launches and various company milestones. Well I had stacks of these tee shirts stored up in my parents house. Most of them still in the wrappers!

I sold most of them on ebay and they were a goldmine! And to think I used to use these tee shirts for working shirts when painting or working on the cars...

Never throw stuff out!
