We're in Carlingford for the evening, in having a lovely meal. Where is the best place to park up for the night? Thanks in anticipation!

Ok, at the moment we are parked at the harbour in front of four seasons, no signs to say we can't? What you think of that location?

All of the above  except the pecan pie, not fond of nuts (its like cannibalism as I am such a big one!)

I was asking the question as I dont know exactly where around the four seasons you are supposed to park, not making a suggestion.

So we parked at the harbour wall (initially), as we were walking back to van it started to rain.
Rain got heavy pretty quickly & wind really picked up. We were all in bed for 11.
We were woken by a loud bang at midnight, we still don't know the source of noise but it prompted Bryan to look out the front window of van ... The sea was coming to say hello to us, literally!!!
Decision quickly made to evacuate harbour wall & head for safer ground!
We parked in the carpark at back of four seasons hotel, there were 2 vans parked there as well.
They were parked on a bit of waste ground just at the boundary of the carpark. We parked between the 2 of them.
Good wee spot, enjoyed breakfast this am in dan's cafe, super food & Ella says best hot chocolate ever (high praise from her indeed).
Super scenery, even in this weather. We heard this am that it's the highest tide of the winter this weekend & there were lots of people out photographing it. I'm just glad we didn't become part of the tide!!

We should maybe start a review section for restaurants especially for the times we are out and about and not necessarily with the motorhome.

I know that, but what about just restaurant reviews as not all can accommodate motothomes.

Just a thought!

I can add it no probs, but is that not already being catered (excuse the pun) for, with the likes of Trip advisor etc?

I suppose it is, just thought we could recommend places we visit. Probably more hassle than good
