Love it and love the idea of it. Wouldn't get much use out of it in this country.

It is a 70 series Toyota Land cruiser, Jack.
I have the older model BJ40 here in a shed for the last 7 or 8 years, still waiting to be restored!

Funny enough, I lusted after one of those for quite a while. Never did get my hands on one though. I toyed with the idea of doing a frame up resto on an old swb landie years ago but changed my mind after driving one. Then I started looking for a BJ40 after driving a fully restored one. I preferred the road manners and looks of the toyota.

Hold onto that one Pat, that'll be a hell of a project when you get around to restoring it.

My nephew who farms in Co Fermanagh has bought one of this least September and I've had some fun on when I've been up with him. I just love driving it and it's a nice bit of kit.

I also have a 1974 series III swb Land Rover needing restoration, I passed my driving test in it in 1979!
My Dad used to deal in Land rovers in the late 70's, early eighties and I knew them inside out.
I have some photos, but I have to figure out how to up load them, the size is too large, I up loaded some to Drop box but still have no luck. I must get someone to show me at the Aherlow meet.

Yes we've got to see the pictures of the Land Rovers. Pat you need to make it a priority to restore that Series 3. They are relatively easy to restore it just takes some organising.

that shed could hide quite a few vehicles and still leave room for restoration projects.

When was the last time they were started and moved

I was looking at the number myself Jack, if the paper work was up to date Pat, it would sell on its own for 280 - 500 sterling.
