Fuel leak bit o help please

Hi, guys and girls, still working on my project, noticed a fuel leak while engine running, diesel leak seemed to be from bottom left of engine( if facing the front) decent size leak.
Tried to see where it's coming from but no obvious place. Thought it might be fuel pump leaking down through timing belt cover?
Any ideas please

best thing to do is strip the cover off and have a look, not too closely with the engine running

i dont have and never had a fiat engined based anything, but a favorite place for the Musso (merc engine) was a small fracture on the high pressure pipes from the pump to the injectors, when the engine wasnt running you ould only see some diesel lying around the pump, but when started a small puddle would start to form and eventually when it failed it really came out like water from a firemans hose

Perished rubber return pipes from the injectors are another popular place for diesel leaks.

It could be the Water Drain Nylon Screw in the bottom of the filter?

Thanks lads, think I have found the problem , not looking good. Leak seems to be coming from diesel pump pulley wheel , must be a seal from shaft to pump. Is losing quite a lot of fuel. Think it's a ma300 pump
Anyone know if seal can be replaced without removing pump?

I would doubt it very much, I know I had to remove mine and get it sent away to be reconditioned.
