I tried it with ours last year and it worked OK but Liz wanted to change the lights and some of the decorations. One can't win you think of a good idea and then the wife destroys it!

That's the thing I hate about crimbo all for the sake of a few days, it's just not worth it.

See I'm not alone in this, I got the boxes out and I will put the boxes away in the garage just so my motorbike doesn't get damaged! But to put the stuff up or take it down, oh no not for me.

Our KZ tree is best described as a shrub. Suits me great!

Btw did anyone happen to see the Californian artist over the Crimbo on discovery who seeks out ant holes and pours molten aluminium down into the hole, leaves it to cool a few hours then digs the whole thing up. Ant holes are the exact same shape as an upside down Crimbo tree and when dug up (in one piece) and power washed off, then mounted on a wooden plinth they are gorgeous. I'd not be taken by such things normally but this was really cool.

There may be other reasons........

I went back last Thursday but for some reason I am really in bad form today, tired and cranky. Just cheered myself up by ordering my screens.
I think it is the weather being cooped up inside!

like starting back to work

Today (6th Jan) is officially the most depressing day of the year.

I thought it was the 3rd Monday in Jan that was 'officially' the most depressing day of the year. All the Christmas and New Year cheer has vanished, the NY resolutions are a distant memory, the credit card bill has come in and its still nearly two weeks to payday!
