It was pretty wild in co Galway last night,

No damage out my way that I know of yet,

Plenty of flooding in Galway City, :o :o

Awful flooding in Cork too, not great around Clonmel to Dungarvan but passable, fallen branches etc.

Stay safe out there!

It was very bad in Killyleagh last night but fortunately there seems to be very little damage done. Thank God I'm amazed as we had our grandson staying with us and he wanted to sleep in the Motorhome. It was Rock'n'Roll all night with unbelievable heavy showers.

I hardly slept a wink lastnight. The wind & rain started roaring from about 2am onwards. Whatever way the wind was blowing, it was perfectly aimed to play tunes on our dormer windows all night long... :-(

And with more of the same due next week! When will it settle down?!

Shivster did it stay in the garden? We had something similar and I had to divert it to a drain and fortunately it worked. Hope it didn't get into your house.

Jack three years ago every room in the house destroyed came very close two years ago but no where near the house this time! That picture was taken about four hours before it got to its highest point we have spent some money since on drainage but no flood insurance! Council have allowed several houses to be built in the past ten years on natural flood plains and it diverts the water our way now. I would cry but it is bricks a mortar and no one got hurt. The fire brigade brought two engines and pumped for five hours to no avail. I am on great terms with all the boys! Crate of beer every year they tried they hardest for us!

Holy tornado batman, I would hate to be the owners of those caravans. A lot of caravan owners do not have insurance for them especially Hobby owners, I know as I had one and it was more expensive to insure it than it has been to insure the motorhome as well as finding a broker who would even take the business on in the first place.

Gold help all those folk that is terrible but thankfully there has been no loss of life. It's must be so hard for them in such a beautiful area to see what they have built up destroyed. They are in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks Blag for posting that video.
